Position Summary

IB Arts is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and mission-driven Grant Writer to support the

organization’s fundraising and development efforts. This role is responsible for researching,

writing, and managing grants that support arts programming, community engagement initiatives,

educational opportunities, and organizational growth.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and relationship-builder who understands the value

of arts access, cultural programming, and community impact. This position works collaboratively

with leadership, program staff, and community partners to develop compelling funding

proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Grant Research & Strategy

• Research and identify prospective grant opportunities from foundations, corporations,

government agencies, and arts funding organizations.

• Maintain and manage a grants calendar including deadlines, reporting requirements, and

submission schedules.

• Monitor trends in arts funding, nonprofit development, and community investment

opportunities.

Proposal Development & Writing

• Write compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, sponsorship requests, and supporting

materials.

• Collaborate with leadership and program staff to gather program data, budgets,

narratives, and impact stories.

• Tailor funding requests to align with funder priorities while clearly communicating the

mission and impact of IB Arts.
