What You'll Do! Primary responsibility of the Retail Sales Associate is to deliver world-class customer service to customers. This requires strong interpersonal skills, effective oral/written communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Computer application knowledge, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), is recommended and may be required. Knowledge of Internet applications is preferred.
Job Responsibilities: - Provide prompt, efficient and courteous customer service.
- Assist customers to determine the best way to ship their packages.
- Assist customers with document services.
- Professionally packing and shipping merchandise.
- Completing transaction sales in a computerized register.
- Must have flexible schedule available to work on weekends/holidays (if needed).
- Maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment in the store and other tasks that are included in job assignments.
- Able to follow and complete instructions.
- Have a helpful, friendly attitude.
- Our ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge required.
- Attention to details is a must.
- Organizational skills needed.
- Desire to be part of a performance-driven team.
Education & Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions and providing accurate pricing information.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette for handling customer calls is a plus.
- A passion for sales and the ability to engage customers effectively will contribute to your success in this role.
Physical Requirements: - The position requires standing, bending and reaching. Frequent lifting of 1 to 5 pounds and occasional lifting of at least 75 pounds.
